Weekend Concerts at Snape

Sarah was lucky enough to see the amazing siblings Sheku and Isata Kanneh-Mason play music by Beethoven, Bridge and Rachmaninov at Snape Maltings today and what a fantastic performance it was.

It was a very well organised event and everyone wore face coverings, capacity was hugely reduced and the performance was under an hour to avoid needing an interval. So bravo Britten Pears Arts for making it work and for being one of the first organisations to get indoor music happening again, it’s made us very proud to be one of the sponsors.

There’s lots more to come including Nicola Benedetti, Clare Hammond and Jess Gillam in September but you need to be quick if you’d like a ticket – they go on sale on Saturday mornings at 10am and they’ve been selling out very quickly.
