Knitwear, it’s not just for Christmas

Holly with Friend in Cocoa Cashmere

Let’s just take a moment to chat about jumpers.  They are stylish but practical, keeping us warm and often covering up all the bits that are sometimes best left hidden. We all have our favourites, some favourites even have holes in but we refuse to recycle them because they’ve spent many months wrapped round us like a security blanket.

But the good news is that when living in Britain a jumper is a wardrobe staple all year round. So if you’re mourning the loss of your big chunky winter knits fear not, there is a fantastic collection of spring knitwear on the shelves.  From cashmere to cotton blends, brights to stripes, the lightweight jumper provides the perfect spring/summer layer when there’s a nip in the air.

Spring/summer knitwear for women

Here are some of our favourites from Dubarry, Olsen, Gant and Schöffel and don’t forget the luxurious ‘Rainbow’ Cocoa Cashmere jumper worn in the photo above with the lovely Miniature Dachshund Tiger. Our Cocoa Cashmere range is 100% cashmere but you can wash them by hand.

Spring/summer knitwear for men:

In our experience, some men aren’t so fussed about Cashmere, it’s more about durability for them. The Barbour Pima Cotton range is a perennial favourite and is available in both a V and crew neck and a selection of colours. The Dubarry Cricket jumper brings a subtle twist to a classic navy cotton jumper. And Gant, Hackett and Fynch Hatton all add fantastic lightweight knitwear to our men’s collection this spring.
