The Timberland Company was created 1978, formerly the Abington Shoe Company which had already developed a waterproof men's Timberland boot in 1973. The company has gone from strength to strength, developing their first boat shoe in 1979 and then exporting to Europe in the 1980's where their styles and designs have proved popular ever since.

- Featuring premium full-grain and nubuck leathers for comfort, durability and abrasion resistance
- 360-degree rawhide lacing system allows for a custom fit
- Handsewn construction for great flexibility and a traditional handcrafted look and feel
- The upper is stitched to the rubber midsole, which is then cemented to the outsole so no stitching is exposed to wear through
- Featuring midsole and outsole in toning or contrast colours
- Non-marking, siped rubber outsole channels away water for traction on wet surfaces
